MTV EMA, il trionfo di Shawn Mendes

Alla SSE Arena di Wembley a Londra si è tenuto lo show di premiazione degli MTV European Music Awards 2017, condotto da Rita Ora. Ad aprire Eminem sulle note del nuovo singolo “Walk On Water”.  Trionfare è stato Shawn Mendes con tre riconoscimenti: Premio Biggest Fans, Best Song per “There’s Nothing Holdin’ Me Back” e Best Artist. Superstar gli U2 che hanno ricevuto il Premio Global Icon Award. A Ermal Meta il Premio Best Italian Act.

Questi tutti gli altri premiati: Eminem il Premio Best Hip Hop 2017, Best Video a Kendrick Lamar per “Humble”, Best Alternative ai 30 Seconds To Mars. Premio Best Pop a Camila Cabello. Anche quest'anno i Coldplay si confermano come Best Rock. Best New è Dua Lipa mentre il Best Live è di Ed Sheeran, Best Electronic è David Guetta. Best Look a Zayn.
